AMarkets is an offshore online broker founded in 2007 in Russia, registered by the Financial Services Authority of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) and with an office in Montenegro and registered by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) of Saint Vincent. AMarkets offers Forex trading and a demo account for beginners. Their minimum deposit is a standard $ 100.

AMarkets is registered by the Financial Services Authority of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) and registered by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) of Saint Vincent. They are also a member of The Financial Commission, an independent dispute resolution organisation that insures traders’ interests up to €20,000.

Demo account

Their demo account, which comes with $10,000 of virtual funds is free of charge and simple to open. This is an excellent tool for both new traders and experts, as it allows you to practice trading skills and place trades without investing any real capital.

AMarkets fees

Fees depend on the account you`ve opened with AMarkets. Broker charges for inactivity fees and deposit fees but does not charge commission on CFD instruments. Each method of withdrawal has different fees and commissions.

 

Registering for an account

As I have mentioned earlier. It’s very simple to register for a demo account. On the main page, right top corner, you can click to open a live or demo account. A short form comes up, that is filled in under a minute. All you need is to fill in your first name, surname, email, telephone number and address.

If you`re a beginner you can take a quick tutorial, that`ll show you through the platform. I recommend going through the tutorial, as it’s a good start.

The tutorial took about a minute and then It took me straight into the platform. No need to log in several times, a nice and smooth flow.

AMarkets trading platforms

They offer MT4 & MT5 platforms and WebTrader. The MT4 platform is the forex industry’s top choice for online trading, offering reliability and convenience. The platform is beginner-friendly but offer much more for professional traders too. MetaTrader 4 can be run directly from an internet browser, or you can download it onto your Windows or macOS computer, so I chose to try out MT4 on my browser. MT5 is the updated version of MT4, offering great tools. The platform is user-friendly, intuitive.

AMarkets website

The website design is good I`d say. Facts are on the main page, easy to find and the navigation across the website is intuitive. There is no fee schedule on the website available, it’s one of the most important aspects when choosing a broker. On the other hand, the website provides a lot of information and you will find a lot of useful sections on the website such as Account types, what can be traded, their history, promotions, bonuses. You`ll find some educational content, including forex news and analytics, as well as a blog. Clients can find access to the Auto chartist indicator, plus an economic calendar and trader calculator. I`m missing some webinars and educational videos on their website.

AMarkets social networks

They are active on Facebook, Instagram, Linked In and YouTube. You can contact them through Telegram, WhatsApp or email. There is a live chatbot ready to help on their website too.

On Facebook, they are active a couple of times a month, which is a big plus. You don’t miss out on analytics, news and facts. Instagram has the same activity and YouTube offers a number of video tutorials that cover a lot of topics for beginners and advanced traders.

 

Advantages and disadvantages of AMarkets

AMarkets is a reliable award-winning FX broker with many years of experience in the industry, which offers a good variety of trading instruments, platforms, account types, and solutions. I was missing educational support on their website and fee margin table or explanation. Another downside is their offshore regulation.
