Demo account

Demo accounts are available to try out the different platforms and conditions before opening a real account. So, Opening a demo account is a good option before opening a live account where you trade with real money in real-time. Blueberry Markets offer a demo account, free of charge and you can register simply from their website. A big plus is $50,000 virtual funds on the demo account for you to play with.

Registration process

Because I am a beginner I`m going to go for a demo account first. You simply choose the “demo account” option in the top bar on their website. Click on “open a free demo account” and then short form comes up. You fill in your name, country, email, password and choose a platform. I read, that the MT4 platform is a bit more user-friendly, so I`ll go with that.

The verification email came immediately and in a sec I was in my personal Blueberry Markets account. Super simple.

Platforms

Blueberry Markets offer two platforms. MT4 and MT5. MetaTrader 4 (MT4) is the most popular retail platform for currency trading. This is what the founder of Blueberry Markets said “I founded Blueberry Markets because I love seeing clients succeed and wanted to help make that happen. We’ve built a platform that encourages that success.” MT4 is developed by Russian software company MetaQuotes. It is free to use and available for desktop, web and mobile. MT5 is the successor to the MT4 platform, with faster processing times. You choose which platform you want and download it from your account.

And then I couldn`t open the application on my mac, due to its version. So, unfortunately, I can`t try out the platform.

The broker’s website

I must say, the website was very well organised and designed. There is the main menu in the top bar. Nothing extra, no marketing blabber, I found everything I needed immediately and the chatbot kept waving at me, just so I know, I`m not here alone.

They are transparent about fees, conditions and their educational support is good. They have a learning plan for you, and it doesn’t matter if you`re a beginner, intermediate or professional broker. You simply choose a plan that suits you or join free webinars. What I liked is their “Blueberry Jam”. Sign up and you`ll receive insights in your email.

Social networks

They are active on Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, Instagram and YouTube. On Facebook they have around 10 000 followers, their last post is only about 16 hours old. They post analyses, videos, news and facts. Twitter has around 1000 followers, and the activity is the same as with Facebook.

Advantages and disadvantages

Blueberry Markets is an Australian broker, regulated. They offer over 350 instruments, a demo account, educational support and a 24/7 chatbot. They have top trading conditions, flexible leverage, convenient funding options and even offer a free VPS and the other reviews I have read are good. The downfall was, that I couldn`t download the MT4, although I am aware it’s my fault. They could have a web trader for someone like me.
