The Libertex demo account is a standard trading account that has been designed to meet the needs of clients who are new to the foreign currency trading concept. This is an account that offers training without risk. It shows how to carry out trades and the general concept of how trades work. The account comes with almost $ 50,000 in virtual cash that will allow the client to learn how to place lucrative deals.

Opening an account with Libertex

Opening a demo account is simple. The join button is on the main page. A short form comes up for you to fill in with your email and a password.

Account registration

Without any extra questions, I`m straight on the platform. I immediately received a welcome email with information about Libertex and its support.

easy and simple access to trade

Libertex offers 3 platforms. MT4, MT5 and a Libertex platform, which I have chosen.

After registering I was straight on the main portal. It has a clean interface with instruments on the top, a panel for selecting individual instruments from the asset class on the left, the main chart window with basic indicators. It also has a Favourites window, you can read News and Analytics ticker for urgent market-impacting events, and a right-hand box containing open and past orders. I really appreciate that the Libertex platform is available to use on multiple devices including Apple Mac computers, and online through a Web Browser. I`d say this platform is one of the most user-friendly in the world.

Libertex website

Also, the Libertex website has a clean design with black, white and orange. The main page gives you a short view of why to choose Libertex. The demo account is highlighted as one of its first features, then you can view a live assets chart, you can go through news and facts on why to trust Libertex. The top pane offers you:

  • Trading
  • Trading info
  • Platforms
  • Company

In the trading info option, you can go through the news, the last article is 3 months old though, so not very up to date. Their blog articles are interesting, but also a couple of months old. Libertex offers a good selection of educational resources. From a starters video to webinars and the already mentioned demo account.

Advantages and disadvantages

Libertex has been active in the online trading scene since 1997, which means that it has over two decades worth of experience to boast of. They offer a demo account, which you open in a second and you have virtual money to learn with. The Libertex platform is super easy and clean as well as their website. The news feed is a bit outdated and activity on social networks not as often as I expected.

Cons:

  • Outdated news
  • Poor activity on social networks
  • Offers only one trading account
  • Specific commission fees not overly clear

Pros:

  • Well-designed Libertex platform
  • The broker offers zero spreads
  • Regulated by CySEC
  • Offers the MT4, MT5
